However, while their appearances would always look formal, a body language expert asserts that they have been under increased tension of late.

The couple, who met in college and have tied the knot in 2011, used to have a more relaxed mindset when they were younger. However, they failed to sustain that attitude to this day, the expert continued.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge go all the way back to 2001, when they were schoolmates at the University of St. Andrews. While they immediately knew each other, they didn’t instantly connect.

As per the rumor mills, Prince William became attracted to Kate during a school fashion show, where she modeled a transparent dress. The royal, who was at the front row, couldn’t help but gush over the woman.

It was a rocky relationship that led to two breakups: in 2004 and 2007. In between, however, the pair seemed to be in a good place.

A 2005 photo of their graduation showed Kate resting her right hand on the prince’s stomach as he also held her hand. The body language expert, Patti Wood, noted how their bodies exhibited positivity and relaxation and their smiles were done with ease, which was what linked them together.

More Recent Engagements

Through the years, photos would show the evolution of their body language, although nothing was serious enough to say that their marriage was on the rocks. What’s confirmed is that there had been tension in the more recent pictures, an element that was absent in their graduation photo.
